IP Address Storage:

  • We temporarily store your IP address for 7 days
  • This information is used solely to limit the number of birthday cards created per user
  • We do not use this information for tracking, profiling, or marketing
  • IP addresses are automatically deleted after 7 days
  • We do not sell your IP address or share it with advertisers
  • We also use your IP address to detect your timezone for accurate event scheduling
  • To find your IP address and timezone, your browser contacts ipapi.co and ipify.org directly, so those services receive your IP address as part of that request

Image Storage:

  • Images you upload when creating birthday cards are stored on our servers
  • We do not use these images for any purpose other than displaying your card
  • Images are retained for as long as the card exists and are deleted when the card expires

Card Data Retention:

  • Birthday card content (messages, names, etc.) is stored on our servers
  • All cards automatically expire and are deleted after 7 days from creation
  • We do not use this content for any purpose other than displaying the card

Cookies & Analytics:

  • We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they use
  • We use Google Consent Mode: if you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies stay disabled until you consent, and you can change your choice at any time through the consent dialog
  • We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track individuals across sites
  • We do not sell your data or use it to build advertising profiles ourselves

Advertising:

  • We may display advertisements served by Google AdSense
  • Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites, subject to the consent choice described above

Microphone Access:

  • Birthday cards ask for microphone permission so the candles can be blown out
  • Audio is analysed in your browser only — it is never recorded, stored, or sent to our servers
  • Declining the permission does not prevent you from viewing the card

  • We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data
  • Data is stored in secure cloud environments with industry-standard protections
  • We regularly review our data handling practices to maintain appropriate security
